Warren Gardens is a hidden jewel in Roxbury
Warren Gardens is a hidden jewel in Roxbury that preserves neighborhood history and a 50-foot cliff overlooking Boston. The small 1.35 acre park has two trails that create a loop through the wild. Hike the loop to discover the ruins of a 19th century mansion, called Buena Vista, on the highest ridge. The wild is thick with trees, but at the summit, there's a grassy clearing.
Plan B:A 10-minute walk from the wild is the Boys and Girls Club, Roxbury YMCA, and the Dudley Library.
