Enjoy easy hiking trails that pass by small streams, historic rock walls, chimney remains and fire pits. It's a lovely place to explore in the woods with the family or find a peaceful, quiet spot to unwind. There is moderate elevation gain, so be prepared for a good stretch of the legs.

The trailhead is not marked or easily visible from the International Business School parking area, so start by heading towards the paved maintenance road. The trail is just a few feet to the left of the maintenance road (you may have to walk over the landscaping!). The majority of the trail is wide and well-traveled, but watch out for poison ivy where vegetation is close to the path.

This woods is maintained by Brandeis University.

Plan B:

For an indoor option, visit Brandeis' Rose Art Museum. Regular museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 12 pm - 5 pm. Find out more.

Where to Eat Nearby:

The 99 Restaurant is located just down the road on South Street.
