The walkway is plowed in the winter, so there's no excuse to miss it!
Cushing is great for walking, biking, or picnicing, and offers a paved loop around the perimeter, which is even plowed in the winter. There are several picnic areas, an exciting school playground adjacent to the park, and old World War II hospital buildings strewn across the park that will be sure to interest curious minds. Several birdhouses are located near the residential section of the park. This rectangular park offers a pre-school playground and easy access for strollers and wheelchairs. Great place to bring the dog!
Plan B:Head downtown to enjoy the free programs for all ages at the Framingham Public Library, a sure crowd-pleaser!
Where to Eat Nearby:There are several Brazilian eateries and markets in Framingham's downtown.
