Ghiloni Park offers something for every age and outdoor interest, with its two playgrounds, accessible track, sports fields, paved walkway in the woods, and connecting trails to the Marlborough State Forest. It's an outdoor gem that is loved by local families. A gravel-packed universally accessible track loops around the playing fields and two ponds at the heart of the park. Kids will enjoy exploring around the ponds' edges inside the track. At the back of the track, a stroller-friendly paved trail winds through the woods and loops back to its start. A few steep sections keep this paved trail from being fully accessible without assistance. For a more adventurous exploration, take the connecting trails to explore the State Forest. Several miles of trail wind through the forest, which forms an important wildlife corridor, preserving vernal pools, wetlands along Broadmeadow Brook.

Plan B:

Two public wading pools are located at Ward Park, also open June to September.

Where to Eat Nearby:

Take Concord Road south to Boston Post Road. Many eateries are available up and down the road.
