This paved, 10-mile bike and walking trail, is one of the most popular rail-trails in the United States. It passes through the areas where the American Revolution began in April 1775 and through the town centers of Arlington and Lexington. A lovely bike trail with lots of fun shops and eateries in the town centers. Check out the Lexington Battle Green--site of a yearly Patriots' Day re-enactment and tour a restored passenger rail car at the Depot Park in Bedford.

Where to Eat Nearby:

Many ice cream shops, coffee shops, and eateries of all sorts are located all along the Bikeway, particularly in the town centers.
