Quiet family campground with nice-size sites on the shore of Lake Dennison.
Quiet family campground with nice-size sites on the shore of Lake Dennison. Plenty of opportunities for swimming, fishing and (non-motorized) boating, as well as hiking and horseback riding in the warm months. Cross country skiing and snowmobiling are also permitted in winter. Hunting is also allowed in the area in season, so be aware of that. Picnicking areas with barbecue grates available at the public beach.
Plan B:Great Falls Discovery Center in Turners Falls, MA (about 40 minutes away); dining, shopping, movie theater in Brattleboro, VT (about an hour away)
