The park offers a short, one-mile loop along the shoreline and marshes with views of the Atlantic and Aisles of Shoales. There are benches and educational markers all along. The park teaches kids about the environmental contributions of Rachel Carson. Plenty of benches and rest stops with restroom facilities and free parking. There are also plenty of long trails as well. We loved it!

Plan B:

Tons of nearby restaurants, shopping (kid-friendly), Wonder Mt. Fun Park, Wells Auto Museum, Lighthouse depot, etc.

Where to Eat Nearby:

Yes! The Maine Diner is super kid-friendly!
