Summer concerts, playground, historical photos

The Bellingham, MA Town Common offers lots of attractions for families. Summer concerts, other events (check town website), historical photos posted along the circular paved paths around the common. The kid's playground, safely away from traffic, is within sight of anywhere on the common, so parents can walk while 4-5 year olds play. Summer lunchtime reading programs take place all season--check Bellingham Library schedule.

Plan B:

Bellingham Library is nearby, continue on Rt. 126 to Blackstone St., turn left, library is 1/4 mile down on right. Open Saturdays during the school year.

Where to Eat Nearby:

Dairy Queen is right across the street, friendly, if you're lucky small children may be invited behind the counter to make their own ice cream cones.
