The Alewife Brook Greenway is a combination boardwalk/stone dust path along the north (Arlington) side of the Alewife River between the Minuteman Bike Path to the Mystic Valley Parkway and the asphalt walking paths along the Mystic River. It starts at a granite pillar (with map engraved in stone) just after you pass under Route 2. There is also an enclosed dog park at the Minuteman Bike Path end of the Alewife Brook Greenway. It's a great bike and walking path. It crosses to the Cambridge/Somerville side to go around the St. Paul's Cemetery and crosses back to the north side of the Alewife River at Broadway.

This path can be a bit confusing because of the lack of signage, but nice that it connects to Cambridge and the Minuteman path.
Yes, I want to receive expert advice on getting my family outside!
