Join Steven Wallander, PhD for a virtual happy hour where he will give us an overview of how environmental economists evaluate conversation programs. No math required - just a willingness to broaden your perspective Steven is an economist with the Conservation and Environment Branch of USDA's Economic Research Service and a member of AMC's Potomac Chapter. Steven's research experience includes irrigation, climate change, double cropping, cover crops, and biofuels.

Bring binoculars and a birding guidebook on your next walk and try to identify what you see. For younger kids, two toilet-paper tubes taped together (or a paper towel tube cut in half and taped) make a great set of binoculars.
